This covers everything in a standard interior and exterior detail. Things like polishing or ceramic coatings are extras, not part of the list

Interior Car Detailing Checklist (26 Points)

Seats & Surfaces

  • 1. Vacuum front seats

  • 2. Vacuum rear seats

  • 3. Vacuum under all seats

  • 4. Vacuum seat creases and stitching

  • 5. Steam clean or shampoo cloth seats (if selected)

  • 6. Wipe down leather seats (if applicable)

  • 7. Apply leather conditioner (if applicable)

  • 8. Clean front seatbacks

  • 9. Wipe and sanitize seat belt buckles

Carpets & Mats

  • 10. Remove and vacuum all floor mats

  • 11. Shampoo or steam mats (if selected)

  • 12. Vacuum full floor area (front + back)

  • 13. Vacuum under floor mats

  • 14. Vacuum trunk or cargo space

Dashboard & Console

  • 15. Wipe dashboard

  • 16. Detail vents with soft brush or compressed air

  • 17. Wipe console and cupholders

  • 18. Clean steering wheel and controls

  • 19. Clean gear shifter

  • 20. Sanitize touchpoints (buttons, screens, handles)

  • 21. Glovebox cleaned

Windows & Glass

  • 22. Wipe dashboard

  • 23. Detail vents with soft brush or compressed air

Details & Extras

  • 24. Clean door panels and trim

  • 26. Check for final touch-ups before closing vehicle

Exterior Car Detailing Checklist (24 Points)

Wash & Dry

  • 1. Rinse vehicle top to bottom

  • 2. Apply foam soap using pressure washer

  • 3. Hand wash exterior panels

  • 4. Clean front grille

  • 5. Clean gas cap area

  • 6. Rinse and dry all panels with microfiber towels

Wheels & Tires

  • 7. Clean tire sidewalls

  • 8. Clean wheel faces

  • 9. Clean wheel wells

  • 10. Clean brake calipers

  • 12. Scrub inner wheel barrels
